Abstract

Climate change is important to agriculture. This paper examines the effect of pollutant emissions and changes in carbon dioxide on increasing tax scenarios and technical advances in Iran's agricultural economy using the GTAP-E method. During two scenarios, the effect of tax shock on CO2 emissions as an environmental indicator was investigated. Therefore, the effect of financial shock on trade balance, exchange relationship and agricultural health shows that the trade balance is the result of increased green and negative taxes. Damage and simulation results of the model with an impulse of 0.6% indicate that achieving the goal of further reduction will be accompanied by an increase in social and commercial health of agriculture. In the field of energy, it is recommended that Iran reduce its carbon dioxide emissions from what it currently produces.
