Abstract

Seafood and Aquatics is one of the best and most healthy consumable foods that plays an important role in food security and the health of society, and due to the increasing demand for fish consumption, aquaculture is an important part of the livestock industry in worldwide. So the study aimed to evaluate the effect of bactocel probiotics on the durability of rainbow trout and on aquacultures income. In the study, 8,000 pieces of rainbow trout with an average weight of 60 g were divided into 2 experimental treated groups by bactocel and control not treated with bactocel groups. In this study, Pediococcus acidilactituma bactocel by extrusion method was added to the fish foods and in during the experiment by using the formulas, fish durability rate in each group was calculated and the data by using SPSS 18 software by independent t-test were analyzed. The data resulted the study confirms that bactocel probiotics can increase the durability rate of rainbow trout. Considering the results of the study, bactocel probiotics possibly by stimulating the immune system and reducing the effect of pathogens and increasing production of immunoglobulins led to increase the durability of rainbow trout and thereby increase production efficiency and aquaculture income.
