International Market Selection for Estahban’s Dried Figs Using Fuzzy Logic

Abstract

Based on the results of the research, it was proved that large and small companies have different subjective preferences for each of the model indicators, which made the proposed ranking of countries for these two groups of companies to be different. By comparing the results, it was found that the ranking of countries for large companies has little sensitivity to the changes in the index values. However, in the ranking of countries for small companies, the positions of some countries are sensitive to changes in the values of indicators and it is not possible to be sure about them. In this way, if the proposed ranking is applied in the process of selecting the international market of Estahban dried figs, the managers of large companies will make decisions with less risk and uncertainty than the managers of small companies. In other words, managers of small companies should evaluate and do more research on the position of some countries.
